Affiliate Membership in the Appraisal Institute Provides Outstanding Opportunities for Students and Individuals in Related Fields

Affiliate Membership is ideal for professionals in allied industries and college students who do not perform work identified by the standards of professional practice, yet share in the interests and concerns of the appraisal profession. Appraisal Institute Affiliate members benefit by keeping abreast of evolving industry issues while taking advantage of member benefits and programs that recognize the importance of their alliance with the industry.

Affiliate members are entitled to many Appraisal Institute member benefits, including discounts on courses and publications as well as complimentary copies of the Appraisal Institute’s periodicals, The Appraisal Journal and Valuation magazine. To see a list of the many benefits of Affiliate Membership in the Appraisal Institute, visit the Benefits of Membership Page.

The Affiliate Membership category includes two options for membership:

Standard Affiliate Membership
Through our Affiliate Membership program, the Appraisal Institute offers individuals in related fields an outstanding opportunity to get to know appraisal experts and understand the work they do. Lenders, developers, attorneys, suppliers and professionals in real estate-related businesses who work closely with appraisers will benefit through Affiliate Membership.

National dues for Affiliate Members are $190 annually plus applicable chapter dues.*

Student Affiliate Membership
College students can jump-start their careers by joining the Appraisal Institute at a significant discount with the Student Affiliate Membership. Student Affiliates receive many of the same benefits as other members, including the opportunity to learn and network with seasoned professionals at national and chapter meetings. They must provide proof (course schedule, college confirmation, etc.) of their current enrollment at the time of application and confirm proof of student status annually.
