About the Author
Richard C. Sorenson, MAI, reviews more than 300 commercial appraisals annually and provides appraisal consulting services for national, regional, and community banks as well as attorneys and government agencies. He has an extensive background as chief appraiser for a regional bank and is a past president of the Appraisal Institute. Sorenson has been published in several appraisal and banking journals and holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin.
