About the Author
Richard J. Roddewig, MAI, CRE, FRICS, is a real estate appraiser and a land use and zoning attorney with more than 30 years of experience. Mr. Roddewig has been involved in more than 200 assignments involving conservation and historic preservation. Mr. Roddewig was a member of the joint task force on conservation and preservation easement appraisal issues appointed by the Land Trust Alliance, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Appraisal Institute, the American Society of Appraisers, and the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. He served as a reviewer for the Valuation and Conservation Easements course and was the developer of the three-day Appraising Historic Preservation Easements course.
