Rates and Ratios is a unique, compact reference source for real estate appraisers, review appraisers, and others who use appraisal reports in their work. The text provides descriptions of more than two dozen rates and ratios commonly applied in the income capitalization approach. All the rates and ratios are presented in the same format, which includes each rate's symbol and uses, it's relationship to other rates, a definition, and cautions for avoiding misuse. Appraisers can consult individual entries to determine if a specific rate or ratio is being appropriately applied. Rates and Ratios also provides a series of examples showing how many of the rates can be extracted.
