    Pay: $30,500 yr – 2 yr grant

    SUMMARY OF ROLE

    The Appraisal Foundation (TAF) has committed $1.22 million over the next three years to fully fund enrollment in an approved Practical Applications of Real Estate Appraisal (PAREA) program through the Pathways to Success scholarship. The application for the Licensed Residential Program is NOW OPEN!

    Administered by the Appraisal Institute as part of the Appraiser Diversity Initiative®, this scholarship covers 100% of PAREA program costs, making it easier than ever to begin your journey toward a successful appraisal career. This scholarship is open to all aspiring appraisers who have successfully completed all education required for the Licensed Residential Real Property Appraiser classification in the applicant’s state of residence, where PAREA is approved. All people who receive an Appraiser Diversity Initiative® (ADI) scholarship, regardless of whether they have received prior ADI scholarships, will become scholars in the program.

    The Scholarship Administrator and Data Coordinator are responsible for managing and coordinating the scholarship processes, ensuring efficient administration, and maintaining accurate data records. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze and report on scholarship-related data. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to streamline scholarship operations, enhance data management systems, and provide support to students and program staff.
     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    • Oversee the administration of TAF ADI scholarship programs, including application collection, review, selection, and award processes.
    • Maintain up-to-date scholarship guidelines and ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
    • Communicate with scholarship applicants, providing guidance on requirements, deadlines, and application status.
    • Collaborate with internal departments, such as ADI and Finance, to coordinate scholarship awards.
    • Manage and maintain accurate records of scholarship applications, awards, and disbursements.
    • Develop and generate regular reports on scholarship statistics, trends, and program impact.
    • Use data analytics to assess the effectiveness of scholarship programs and identify areas for improvement.
    • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all student and financial data.
    • Identify and address challenges in scholarship administration, recommending innovative solutions.
    • Serve as the primary contact for scholarship-related inquiries from students, families, and institutional partners.
    • Assist in post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and improve future project processes.
    • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned


    QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLSET, & ABILITIES

    • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
    • Exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • 0-1 years of project management experience
    • 1-2 years of data management experience
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a computer
    • Ability to hear well for online meetings and communication
