    Education Delivery Support Specialist

    Location: Hybrid/Remote
    Salary Range: $55k-65k

    About the Role:
    The Appraisal Institute is seeking a dedicated and tech-savvy Education Delivery Support Specialist to assist students, instructors, chapters, clients, and partners with all aspects of our education programs, including classroom, on-demand, and live online (synchronous) learning. This role will serve as a producer to ensure the smooth delivery of live online education sessions, providing both technical and administrative support throughout the process.     About the Appraisal Institute:
    The Appraisal Institute is a leading professional association for appraisers that empowers valuation professionals through community, credentialing, education, body of knowledge and ethical standards. We are seeking a passionate, experienced Instructional Designer to join our team and help us deliver impactful educational experiences that foster appraiser growth.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Student and Instructor Support:
      Provide both technical and administrative support to students and instructors for online, live (synchronous), on-demand, and classroom education programs. Respond to inquiries related to registration, certificates, state credit, and Appraisal Institute Continuing Education credit via phone, email, or support ticket system.
    • Live Online Education Producer:
      • Schedule and set up live online offerings and materials in AI systems.
      • Conduct practice sessions with instructors prior to each offering.
      • Provide real-time technical support during live sessions and troubleshoot as needed.
      • Handle post-session activities, including closing offerings in systems, reporting, and providing student and instructor support.
      • Availability for weekend and evening hours (approximately 25%) to meet business needs.
    • Chapter Education Support:
      Assist chapters with nationally developed programs, chapter-developed programs, and third-party education offerings.
      • Review and approve event applications, process event completions, and grading of examinations.
      • Respond to student queries related to chapter events and provide troubleshooting and customer service support.
    • Administrative & Reporting Duties:
      • Maintain accurate records in association management systems and online chapter portals.
      • Process student state roster submissions and troubleshoot student examination support issues.
      • Draft and process contracts and payments for education instructors, developers, and reviewers.
      • Assist potential instructors with qualification queries and other procedural support.
    • Documentation & Process Management:
      Update standard operating procedures (SOPs) with assistance from the manager. Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications & Skills:
    We’re looking for a proactive and organized individual with:

    • Experience:
      • At least 2 years of experience in customer service or administrative services.
      • Association experience is preferred.
    • Technical Skills:
      • Proficient in live online education delivery and meeting software (Zoom, Teams, GoToWebinar preferred).
      • Knowledge of on-demand online education administrative and technical support, including basic browser troubleshooting.
      • Experience with association management software (e.g., netForum) and support ticket software (e.g., ZenDesk) is a plus.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Communication & Problem-Solving:
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills to provide effective support through various communication channels.
      • Analytical mindset with the ability to simplify and communicate complex information clearly.
      • Excellent time management, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
    • Other Skills:
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete projects.
      • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.
