    Instructional Designer!

    Summary of Role:
    As an Instructional Designer at The Appraisal Institute, you will be responsible for creating, delivering, and overseeing educational materials aimed at appraiser growth and career development. Your expertise in Learning Management Systems (LMS), content development, editorial experience, and project management will play a key role in supporting our mission and ensuring high-quality educational experiences for our audience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    LMS Management:

    • Administer and maintain the organization’s Learning Management System (LMS)
    • Develop and upload course content, assessments, and resources
    • Provide technical support and training to staff and users

    Content Development and Review:

    • Design and develop immersive educational experiences for both classroom and online settings
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date
    • Utilize multimedia tools to create interactive and visually appealing content

    Project Management:

    • Lead and manage instructional design projects from start to finish
    • Develop project plans and timelines
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of projects

    Editorial Experience:

    • Review and edit educational materials for clarity, accuracy, and consistency
    • Ensure that all content adheres to organizational standards and guidelines
    • Provide feedback and guidance to content creators to improve quality

    Evaluation and Improvement:

    • Assess the effectiveness of instructional materials and programs
    • Collect and analyze feedback from learners and stakeholders
    • Continuously improve content and delivery methods based on feedback and best practices

    Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with program managers, production specialists, and other stakeholders
    • Communicate project status and updates to relevant parties
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic planning

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design, preferably in a non-profit setting
    • Proficiency in LMS administration and e-learning tools
    • Strong editorial skills with experience reviewing and editing educational content
    • Proven project management skills with experience leading multiple projects simultaneously
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
    • Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for education and training
    • Must be willing to learn new applications
