About Us:
The Appraisal Institute empowers valuation professionals through community, credentialing, education, body of knowledge, and ethical standards.
What You'll Do:
As a Project Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our projects from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing Project Plans: Assist in creating detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets that guide our teams to success.
- Collaborating with Stakeholders: Work closely with project managers and team members to define project scope and objectives.
- Documentation Management: Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up to date, including meeting notes, reports, and schedules.
- Tracking Progress: Monitor project milestones and deliverables to guarantee timely completion.
- Effective Communication: Regularly update team members and stakeholders on project status, potential risks, and issues.
- Resource Coordination: Work across departments to allocate necessary resources and ensure they are utilized effectively.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively work to mitigate them, keeping projects on track.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet the highest quality standards.
Who You Are:
We’re looking for a proactive and organized individual with:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Fluency in Spanish preferred.
- 1-2 years of project management experience.
- Exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- A knack for analytical thinking and problem-solving.

Physical and Travel Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods at a computer.
- Some travel may be required (less than 5 percent) to support workshops, events, and fairs.
