Photo ID Required to Complete Your Registration

Please send a copy of your Driver's License or Photo ID to lisa@norcal-ai.org.  Feel free to cover any personal information with the exception of your photo and printed name. Quick Tip:  Cover personal information with cut-to-size Post-it-Notes or via electronic means before taking a photo with your phone or scanning.  Registrants will not be sent the ZOOM log-in link unless their DL/Photo ID is received in advance.  In the subject line of your email type "DL -  [enter your last name] BPE Dec 2024" before submitting.  ID's should be submitted to the Chapter Office immediately upon completing this online registration.

Program Hours and Materials
Online check-in will begin at 8:00am on Thursday, December 5.  Instruction will run from 8:30am – 3:30pm (Pacific Time) and will be conducted using ZOOM as the interactive learning platform.  There is no exam associated with this offering.  

Beginning 4 weeks prior to the offering, all students will have access to the downloadable course materials. If you would like hardcopy (printed) materials sent to you in advance, both a print fee of $25 (subject to change) and a shipping fee (TBD) apply. [Note: Shipping fee is calculated at the time of online check-out.]

Required Texts 
There are no additional required texts for this offering.

Required Equipment 
This class will be held via Interactive Technology (ZOOM).  It is the student's responsibility to have the required equipment - dependable Internet access, computer with webcam, speakers and microphone.  Some registrants may find a secondary device (ipad, phone, laptop or desktop computer) helpful during instruction.  Cell phones are better used only as a secondary rather than primary viewing device.

ZOOM Links and Assistance
The ZOOM link will be sent within 24-48 hours of the offering ONLY to confirmed registrants who have provided their Photo ID/DL in advance.

Attendance Verification Process Effective 10/01/19
Verified attendance certificates will be available for downloading within 15 working days of the offering

• Logging into My Account www.appraisalinstitute.org; select the red tab
• Select EDUCATION
• Click on the specific offering that you are seeking the certificate for; it will show REGISTERED
• Scroll to the very bottom of the screen to (1) COMPLETE EVALUATION FORM and (2) RETRIEVE CERTIFICATE
  
  

Note:  Effective 10/01/19 students will be able to access their attendance certificates 24/7 through the Appraisal Institute's netFORUM association management program.  The Northern California Chapter does not have direct access to certificates for programs held after this time. Any issues in retrieving certificates should be brought directly to the attention of the Appraisal Institute's Education Delivery Department at 312/335-4207 or education@appraisalinstitute.org.

Confirmation Emails

Education Credit Hours and Attendance Verifications
Those who check in late, leave early or are not visible during non-scheduled breaks may jeopardize receipt of credit.

Appraisal Institute: Full attendance (100%) enables Designated Members and Practicing Affiliates to receive 30 AI CEC points.  This course is just one of the programs AI professionals have to complete to meet their AI Standards requirement.  Other offerings may include USPAP 7-Hour and/or USPAP 15-Hour. 

BREA Continuing: Business Practices and Ethics has been approved by the BREA (#19CP754601363) for 6-hours of CEC. Licensed/certified appraisers seeking BREA CEC must meet the 100% attendance requirement.  

BREA Basic/Qualifying: Business Practices and Ethics is not approved for BREA qualifying education (QE) credit.

If you are seeking credit for this offering from a state outside of California, check with your state licensing board(s) to make sure an out-of-state offering will be accepted before registering.  It is best to speak directly with a representative from your board rather than relying on information posted to the web.  Note: Some states outside of California may have additional reporting requirements that the chapter is not able to comply with.

Cancellations
Written cancellations received by Thursday, November 21 are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations received after that time but prior to noon on Thursday, November 28, are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. No refunds for cancellations received after November 28 or for program "no shows". Cancellations can be emailed to lisa@norcal-ai.org.

We reserve the right to substitute instructors, or to cancel or modify this program (adjust format) if sufficient registrations are not received by November 22 or due to other circumstances beyond our control. In the event of cancellation, tuition fees will be refunded. All other costs incurred are the registrant’s responsibility.
