Course Description
Three commercial real estate professionals from Colliers will each speak on their area of expertise and go over the state of various market segments. Each speaker will address how the various global, national, regional, and local factors - such as escalating interest rates, an unstable stock market, increasing utility costs, continued supply-chain issues, and recession fears post-COVID - have impacted commercial real estate in New Hampshire. The presenters will cover trends for all types of commercial property located in the Seacoast and Southern New Hampshire Markets including industrial, office, retail and multi-family properties, addressing topics such as:
- Supply & demand
- Asking prices and sale prices
- Lease prices
- Appreciation / depreciation
- Vacancy rates
- Typical expenses ratios and the impact of rising utility costs
- Capitalization rates with rising interest rates
- Investor requirements
- Construction costs and their impact on economic feasibility
